about gabby

Born in a small fishing town on the Caribbean Sea coast of Venezuela in 1973. Her lens has been creating photographic narratives and capturing much of the cultural face of the Northern Beaches of Sydney since 2013.

Gabby draws inspiration from the simple things in life and her interest centers on human sensitivity and the natural world.

During the upheaval of the COVID confinement, she turned her lens into a more personal and intimate conversation through self-portraiture, handmade alterations, and cyanotypes. Her work responds to emotions and experiences recreated with a melancholic accent through mixed media, inviting the viewer to deep reflection.
